For this project I chose to redesign a package for dry apricots. I felt that the original container was very plain and generic. It seems that the label could be used for any dry fruit if the name was changed. In the package I could not find any thing appealing or interesting that would draw my appention to the product. And if I didn't like dry apricots, I don't think I would ever buy them based on the package they're in. For my package I wanted to change the quality and the size of the container. I felt that people like me, who like dried apricots, would happily buy a larger container if it would be available to them. I tried to raise the quality of the product by placing it in a more durable, nicer looking container. I strived for more appealing and beautiful package, so it could function even as a decoration on the kitchen table.
